A friend took me to a yarn store sale and I picked this up right away! A blend of 85% cotton and 15% silk, it feels like soft butter in your hands! Soon we had several women grabbing more for me.....I had to have it all. The color I'd say is butterscotch and I pleated the back, added copper buttons with a ivory and butter stripe, set in sleeves and flared collar. It has a lovely drape, wonderful feeling and hope you enjoy wearing it.

Icelandic Wool Patchwork Cardigan

Determined to get rid of a 1/2 ball of this and that, no thinking, just do it... sounds good huh! One thing led to another and I started thinking, that's when I got into trouble! I started out in 16 stitch panels, 2 for the front and 4 in back, all sewn together separately. I wanted set in sleeves to avoid any extra bulk, crew neck to field off cold, and I wanted it to say" Hello, I'm a leaf peeper" and proud of it! What do you think? Shades of autumn orange, royal blue, oatmeal, green heather, red, and of course, Apple wood buttons. Have you taken a drive around our beautiful Monadnock Region here in NH.? You should if you get a chance and with wearing this sweater, in Icelandic wool, you'll blend right in!
